Enter transactions with Quick Entry
Use the manual Bank Feeds grid, receipt scan and screen capture, browser draft recovery and Push All.

Use Quick Entry when you have individual transactions rather than a statement file. You need Bank Feeds access, the correct sidebar company and an accessible Reckon company file before pushing. Upload Statement and Feed History links at the top switch workflows.
- Open Bank Feed → Quick Entry. There are five initial rows. Choose a type from Cheque, CC Charge, CC Refund, Bill Payment, Bill Payment - CC, Deposit or Rcv Payment. The last label means Receive Payment. Sales Receipt is available in Feed History, not this grid.
- Enter Date, Payee, Account, Exp./Income Acct, Tax, Class, Ref #, Amount and Memo as relevant. Date is a date picker; Account is Bank Account, Credit Card or Deposit-to Account depending on type. A Deposit needs From / Income Account; Rcv Payment does not use an expense account. Bill Payments use Select bills… instead of an expense account; see Supplier bill payments. Fields marked * are required. The type change clears account, expense/income account and allocations, so check them again.
- For a normal Cheque or card charge/refund, select the correct expense account and review the suggested tax code (a new row starts with NCG). Tax and Class are disabled for Deposit, Rcv Payment and Bill Payments in this grid. Choose a matching existing payee when appropriate; free text is also accepted. Ref # and Memo are optional.
- Select Add row, or press Tab from the final Memo cell in the last row, to append a row. Use the row's Remove row control to remove an unpushed row. Clear all resets the grid and its browser draft; it does not erase previously saved Feed History or reverse Reckon records.
- To extract details from a receipt image, use the scan icon at the start of an editable row. To capture transactions from a screen, select Scan Data: grant screen-sharing permission, drag over the desired Select image region, then analyse it. If capture is unavailable or cancelled, the image picker opens instead. Review every extracted value and newly added row; images are suggestions, not a safe substitute for checking the source.
- Review the Ready and Error badges, then select Push All. Only valid ready rows qualify; the action saves eligible rows to BookFlo and starts Reckon pushes. Its progress counts completed and failed attempts. Cancel stops new pushes; in-flight requests can finish. Check Feed History and Reckon before attempting an error again.
For example, enter a Cheque dated 18-09-2026, AUD 64.90, with a fictional stationery supplier, the actual bank account and the appropriate expense account. Verify tax treatment against the receipt before Push All. Recording this transaction does not transfer money.
Browser recovery: Touched, unpushed rows are saved in this browser about 800 milliseconds after a change; Saved N rows shows a successful browser save. Revisiting the same company in that browser restores those rows for review, but this is not a server-side saved draft or a cross-device backup. Pushed rows are removed from browser recovery. Switching company or Reckon file requires rechecking the destination; bill allocations from another file are cleared.
If Push All is disabled, fill required cells (positive amount, date, payee, payment account and the type-specific coding or bill allocations). If an image scan fails, enter the row manually. If Reckon access cannot be confirmed, fix the file connection rather than repeatedly submitting. See Review and code history, Customer payments and Push safely.
